The firm was founded by Mr. K.D. Dubey in 1978 under the name “CECONS ASSOCIATES”. As Mr. Dubey began to take on larger projects over a larger geographical area, Cecons Associates expanded in size. The firm’s name was changed from CECONS ASSOCIATES to CECON ASSOCIATES in 1985 to mark the expansion and change in focus.
With a long history in civil construction and continuous improvisation, it is no wonder that the culture at CECON ASSOCIATES is one of continual improvement. With its “can do” attitude, Cecon Associates is excited to confront the challenges and seize the opportunities that the future will bring.

Geographical Expansion

Firm Expansion & Name Change
The firm’s name was changed from CECONS ASSOCIATES to CECON ASSOCIATES to mark the expansion and change in focus.
- 1990s
Bokaro Steel Plant & Industrial Expansion
Major structural, end vertical heating wall repair and coke oven battery contracts for Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
- 2000s–Present
Highways, Bridges & Institutional Projects
Diversified execution across NH-2 four-laning, vaccine research centres, river bridges and CISF residential complexes.
